About Brian

My name is Brian McCall and I am a child of God.

At the beginning of the pandemic I thought I was in the endgame when we were forced to close, and wondered what I was going to do after being a jeweler for all of these years.  I didn’t realize that Midwest Jewelers was on the cusp of the most extraordinary run of business we had ever experienced. To be honest, it was humbling. I have always said I’m a lot more successful than I am smart; that way I can't take credit for it.

One thing I am good at though, is hiring great people who create a warm and friendly environment.  Whether it is to “play jewelry” or to sell a nice piece from our collection, my staff strives to make each person feel a part of our Midwest family.

I have been a part of this ever changing industry for over 40 years. When I was a child, my mother took me to flea markets and turned me loose with $5 in my pocket to find treasure. I have been finding treasures ever since. In 1995, I decided to open my business in my garage. Three years later, I moved the business to Zionsville where we fell in love with the Village, the community, and the people. Over time, Midwest Jewelers and Estate Buyers has become the premiere estate buyer in the area, enjoying a strong referral business from most high end jewelers in the area - which is the highest compliment that could be paid to our store. 

I have been happily married to Cynthia for more than 36 years and have 4 terrific children: Zachary (with Alexis), Jacob (with Mia), Hannah, and Dhamar. We now have 4 grandchildren: Max, Olivia, Zion, and Israel, the new joys of our lives!

I believe I am exactly where God called me to be, and I look forward to helping you with any of your jewelry needs.
